The First Trailer For 'Despicable Me' Spin-off 'Minions' Is Here: Watch Now

You...don't wanna hire these guys.

Apparently, it ain’t easy being a Minion.

The lovable, indecipherable servants from "Despicable Me" are on their own in "Minions," and they’re on the hunt for a new master in the first official trailer for the spin-off/prequel.

The gang of yellow, one-eyed creatures travel from the prehistoric era to the building of Egypt's pyramids. They even pop by Transylvania, serving, then accidentally killing, all of their masters.

Oops!

“Minions have been on this planet far longer than we have,” says the narrator, voiced by Steve Coogan. “They all share the same goal: to serve the most despicable master around. Finding a master was easy, keeping a master, that’s where things got tricky.”

Allison Janney, Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm and Michael Keaton star in the Universal animated feature, which hits theaters on July 10, 2015.
