Taylor Swift Announces 1989 World Tour: See Dates Here

The trek starts May 2015. Tickets go on sale as early as Friday.

It's coming! Taylor Swift announced her 1989 World Tour on Monday (November 3) with a teaser video.

Just one week after releasing her fifth album, 1989, last week, the singer is spreading the word about her global trek to promote the record. If you haven't heard, Swift is on her way to going platinum with her latest release -- which would be her third album in a row to reach that sales peak in week one.

Swift will start her journey on May 20 in Louisiana, bringing along folk singer Vance Joy for the ride. Shawn Mendes will join the two for stadium dates. For more information, go to TaylorSwift.com.

Tickets will go on sale November 14 and American Express cardholders will have early access on November 7.
