We've enlisted some of our favorite celebs to give you a full list of "do's and dont's" to get you through the Halloween holiday.

Do: Get A Lot of Candy

I mean this is what the Halloween is all about, right? So if you're like Jake Miller, you'll be stocking up on Snickers, Butterfinger and Skittles. Today is the day that it's OK to indulge.

Don't: Dress Too Scandalously

It's inevitable you'll run into a sexy doctor or a scandalous cop this Halloween, but one person you won't see wearing that is Meghan Trainor, who told us she's "just not good at it." But for those of you that are on the fence about whether to go super sexy or keep it tame, listen to "Jane The Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez's wise words: "It's not necessary; be creative."

Don't: Wear Uncomfortable Masks

Urban Outfitters

You are going to be in your costume for the better part of the night so take Magic!'s advice: "Don't wear a mask you can't breathe out of. That's very important because you're dancing and you can't breathe." Breathing is important!

Do: Dress Up

Target

There's always that one person that just doesn't want to commit to Halloween, so if you're thinking about doing that then listen closely to the Property Brothers and "don't be that lame person that doesn't dress up." You just end up drawing more attention to yourself.

Don't: Get Too Scared

Halloween is all about doing things that frighten you, but don't scare the sh-- out of yourself, which is exactly what Austin Mahone did, but definitely not something "Saturday Night Live's" Cecily Strong would do. "What I do not do is haunted houses because I am a big pansy -- just someone next to me in the dark is too much," she said.

Don't: Throw Eggs

Yeah, this isn't a good look, and take it from Nico & Vinz, who've had it done to them: "It was mad annoying."
