Watch Tyler Oakley's Totally Fetch Homecoming Acceptance Speech

'It might be the first time I've ever been called King instead of Queen, but I'll take it," the YouTuber said.

The votes have been cast, the ballots were counted and this year's MTV Homecoming King and Queen are Tyler Oakley and Demi Lovato.

While both celebs took to Twitter immediately following their wins, Tyler wanted to send an extra special thanks to #TeamInternet for their tireless support.

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for voing for me. We made it all the way to the end and now I am Homecoming King," the YouTuber said in his video acceptance. "It might be the first time I've ever been called King instead of Queen but I'll take it."

Speaking of royalty, Tyler paid homage to the Queen Bees of "Mean Girls" in his piece, referencing Lindsay Lohan's character Cady Heron's Spring Fling coronation.

"I wish I had a crown I could break up into a million pieces, I would give each and every one of you a piece," he laughed. "I don't because this is a virtual win so I will just give you my love through the Internet."
