Is Tyga Dissing Drake On 'Make It Work'?

Rewind that.

Tyga's The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty still appears to be in label limbo, but that hasn't stopped the "Rack City" rapper from dropping new music.

Last week, T-Raww released his Kanye West-produced single "40 Mill" and on Monday (October 27) he dropped "Make it Work," another possible Gold Album track. It's also the first release after Tyga told Vibe.com that he doesn't get along with Young Money label mates Drake and Nicki Minaj, so the song lyrics will surely be scrutinized.

"N---a never was my homey/ All these bitches know you corny n---a," Tyga raps.

Now, Tyga never mentions Drake by name, so the lyric can be directed at any one (or no one), but given the latest drama within the YMCMB crew, it's quite possible he's aiming at Drizzy.

According to Tyga, the track was recorded some time ago, though we don't know how long he's been harboring his ill feelings.

“I tend to distance myself from them. I’m tryna go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki,” Tyga told Vibe in a story that published last week. "I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together."
