Jennifer Lawrence Says You're 'Going To Be Pissed' At The 'Mockingjay' Ending

So of course, now we're freaking out about why.

Now that splitting the final installment of a major young adult franchise into two films is officially a thing (thank you for that, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"), the talk surrounding these movies has officially switched from "how are they going to translate [insert big moment here] to the big screen" to "when are they going to cut it off?"

And since the most prominent of these franchises is currently "The Hunger Games," fans will either be happy or infuriated to hear what Jennifer Lawrence told Cineplex about the "Mockingjay - Part 1" ending.

"It's a really great ending, and you guys are going to be pissed," she said.

... Great.

Now, having read Suzanne Collins' source material some years back, it's only natural for us to speculate even more than we already were about where "Part 1," which hits theaters on November 21, might cut off. Here are a few theories, based on Lawrence's mildly enraging comment, but be warned -- book spoilers ahead!

1. When Peeta First Tries To Kill Katniss

This seems like the most likely theory, no? Fans would definitely be "pissed" to wait an entire film's length to get their Peeta-Pocket back, only to be faced with the cliffhanger-worthy sight of Josh Hutcherson charging for JLaw in a state of bloodthirsty rage.

2. Right Before Peeta And Katniss First Meet

Then again, even worse might be the prospect of having to wait another full year to see Katniss and Peeta back in action. The film could end with Peeta's rescue team returning to the District 13 camp, teasing us big time with their reunion.

3. Right Before The Attack On The Capitol

Director Francis Lawrence recently told TotalFilm that "Part 1" would be a "propaganda movie" while "Part 2" would be a war movie. This seems less likely than the other two options, but what if the first "Mockingjay" includes everything -- Peeta's brainwashing included -- up to the final attack, and "Part 2" is all about the assassination attempt on President Snow and its heartbreaking aftermath?

We'd be "pissed off" for sure.
