Aubrey O'Day might have lost her Danity Kane sisters (...again) after an epic girl group skirmish, but it seems she's found a new family just fine.

The feistiest former member of DK, who still helped to release the group's "All in A Day's Work" earlier this week, posted an Instagram photo yesterday in which she and former "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino are hanging out. What's more, she captioned the shot "#fam." Uhh, is there a connective, distant relative we never knew about? Are they unlikely cousins, twice- or thrice-removed? What gives?

The last we heard, Mike was in the middle of a legal battle and potentially off to "Marriage Boot Camp" with his girlfriend Lauren Pesce, but as of yesterday, he and his better half were content just spending some time with Aubrey, Aubrey's boyfriend Travis Garland and "Big Brother" alum Jeff Schroeder. Guess kin comes in all shapes and sizes...
