Frankie Grande Lands A Role In Broadway's ‘Rock Of Ages’

Ariana's brother is 'unbelievably excited,' and we are too!

Get ready to rock because Frankie Grande is taking over Broadway.

Ariana Grande's big brother will take center stage, playing Franz in the Broadway musical "Rock of Ages." It's news that he's been 'dying' to tell his fans.

"I'm so unbelievably excited," Frankie told People magazine. "I have wanted to play Franz ever since I first saw the show. I think it is one of the best, funniest, most clever roles."

Of course Ariana couldn't contain her excitement for Frankie tweeting that she was "so proud" of her brother.

Frankie, who became a fan favorite on the hit show "Big Brother," has already been under the bright lights of Broadway, when he was part of the cast of "Mama Mia!," the ABBA-inspired musical, in 2007, but has always dreamt of being a part of "Rock of Ages," auditioning for the play several times.

"I've actually had three final callbacks since the show originally opened. Every time I made it down to the final two people, they went with the other guy," he said of the role that was cut from the 2012 film. "The first time I wasn't blonde. The second time I was too blonde. The third time I was too short. That is how Broadway works. They have a surplus of actors, so they can be that picky."

Frankie begins his run in "Rock of Ages" on November 10 through January 18.
