Our favorite zombie apocalypse survivors on "The Walking Dead" may have made it out of the cannibal enclave known as "Terminus" alive - and for the first time in nearly a year are all in the same place, at the same time - but that doesn't mean anywhere is ever, truly safe.

Here's all the biggest, most jaw-dropping moments on "Strangers:"

What About Bob?

Let's skip to the end and ask the biggest question(s): what's up with Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.)? He spends most of the episode happier than a non-central Disney cartoon character, kissing his girlfriend Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and joking around with everyone.

Then he gets sucked underwater by a bloated, gross walker, and like some sort of reverse baptism ends up dark, disturbed and removed. At first we thought he was bitten - something that was only affirmed when Bob wandered out of an otherwise happy gathering, kissed Sasha goodbye and ended up crying in front of a tree.

Then he gets knocked out, the tree turns out to have another of those strange markings we glimpsed during the post-credits Morgan scene on "No Sanctuary," and... Well, then something else happens to Bob. We'll get to that in a moment.

"A Man's Got To Eat"

BRB, vomiting forever. Gareth (Andrew J. West) and his now comic-book appropriately named group of Hunters are back, and they've captured Bob Stookey. Explaining that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group took away their home - Terminus - and forced them to "devolve" into this state, we get some of the grossest shots in the history of "The Walking Dead," which is saying something.

"As much as we hate all this ugly business, a man's got to eat," Gareth says, as the camera pulls back to reveal Bob is missing a leg. "If it makes you feel any better, you taste much better than we thought you would."

Yep, Gareth is eating barbecued Bob Stookey, right in front of him and it is GROSS. That said, this is starting to follow a plotline from the comics pretty closely. And if it does? All is not how it seems, so stay tuned.

Meet Father Gabriel

Before the Great Bob Eating of 2014, some other stuff actually happened in the episode. The biggest event - or plotline - was the introduction of the cowardly Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam). We learn a lot about the man of the cloth this week, including he's very scared all the time, he trusts in god, and he's scared all the time.

Actually we didn't learn a whole lot about him.

Michonne's A Chatterbox Now

Oh my god, can you shut up for ONE SECOND Michonne (Danai Gurira)? Whether it's hilariously reaching for a phantom katana, talking about people she misses, or explaining how rainwater works, you can't get Michonne to be quiet, even if you asked.

We're kidding of course, but really this character has changed a ton since she was introduced (and as the actress explained to us when we visited the set of the show).

Tyreese: Down With Whatever

After last week's action packed season opener, Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman) is basically up for whatever you guys are doing. When asked if he can watch baby Judith, he's all like, "Sure Rick. Whatever you want." It's possible he might just have a light episode, but given how happiness is regularly punished on this show (see: Bob Stookey), we're worried about our favorite hammer wielder - even if Coleman told us in person not to worry.

Underwater Walkers

Walker of the week may go to the hilarious beardo who wandered out from behind Father Gabriel's rock of shame during the episode's opening minutes, but the underwater walkers at the food bank reminded us just how gross bloated walkers can be.

Also: pushing a shelf down on some walkers when they're all underwater is not a good strategy. Hasn't anyone seen "Star Wars?" [NOTE: substitute "walkers" for "trash compactor worm thing" and you'll get the idea.]

Mr. Grimes Goes To Washington

It's decided: the group is heading to Washington D.C. to help cure the zombie plague, after another impressive bit of lying from Eugene (seriously, he's lying, right? He has to be) who explains that infrastructure is still in place in the nation's capitol.

Rick asks Judith what she thinks, the baby agrees, and off they'll go. At least, until they all get eaten by Gareth, the hungriest man alive.

The Search For Beth Begins

Carol (Melissa McBride) is out for a midnight stroll, Daryl (Norman Reedus) tracks here, and as they're about to head back to Father Gabriel's church they see the car that kidnapped Beth. The chase is on! Also, it'll be interesting to see how splitting Daryl and Carol off from the group stymies them when the Hunters become the... Guys who are hunting.

Tara Pounds It With Rick

We just don't want to forget that we watched Rick Grimes pound it. That was pretty boss.
