Mr. Big Is Totally In The Doghouse For This 'Sex And The City' Comment

WHAT did you just call Carrie?

If this were "Sex and the City," you just know there'd be a pun-heavy, strongly worded column about this one.

Chris Noth, i.e. Mr. Big on the genre-defining show and its subsequent movies (P.S., yes, we still have our fingers crossed for that third installment), dropped a "jokey" comment that would surely land him in the doghouse with Mrs. Big in an interview with news.com.au out of Australia.

"He was always honest about himself — he never cheated on her," Noth said of his character. "The relationship just didn't work, and he went on to get married while she went on to … how many boyfriends did she have? She was such a whore! [laughs] There's a misconception that Carrie was a victim of him, and that's not the case — she was a strong, smart woman."

Like, yes, we know that they eventually got married at the courthouse after that whole tragic standing-her-up-at-the-wedding thing, but you just know that if Carrie heard Big talk about her like that, she'd (rightly) give him a bouquet-walloping for the ages.

Of course, Noth is probably also in the doghouse for the strongly worded comments about "Sex and the City 2," calling the studio "greedy" for being disappointed in its box office performance and characterizing audience reactions thusly: "People were like, ‘Who gives a f--k about these broads going to Dubai when we can’t pay our mortgage?’"
