Emma Stone Responds To Bill Murray's 'Ghostbusters' Recommendation

This should be a thing that happens.

Paul Feig's mission to make a scary, all-female "Ghostbusters" reboot set off a storm of speculation about which lucky ladies would make the cut.

Thankfully, Bill Murray spoke up to set the record straight. The former buster recommended Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Linda Cardellini and Emma Stone, calling his "Zombieland" co-star "funny."

When we spoke with Emma Stone while she was promoting her new movie "Birdman," it seemed like she took the compliment in stride.

"That's pretty nice," she said. "Do you remember that scene in 'Zombieland' where we're the Ghostbusters, and I got to say Slimer was on the ceiling? But that wasn't being a Ghostbuster. That was being Annie Potts."

Do we remember the best scene in "Zombieland," Emma Stone? Yes, we remember the scene.

"Birdman" opens in limited release on October 17.
