This Is How 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' Pulled Off That Quicksilver Scene

It involved putting Evan Peters on a treadmill.

There were many moments from "X-Men: Days of Future Past" that left us laughing, crying, or just straight up mesmerized, but nothing quite compared to that Quicksilver scene. You know, the one where Evan Peters ran slo-mo through a kitchen in the Pentagon, fending off bullets and making dudes punch themselves while listening to Jim Croce? Yeah, that's the one.

Well, lucky for us, the "DOFP" Blu-ray/DVD includes a bonus feature on the making of that scene, which came to life via a treadmill, a strategically placed wind machine, and about a zillion other ingredients that led to some serious movie magic.

"They were blowing massive amounts of air in my face to give it that rippled look," Peters says in the feature. "A lot of air. It's like skydiving... it was fun."
