Kiesza Made 'Take U There' In Skrillex's Hotel Room

Annnd they have more music coming.

NEW YORK -- If you liked Jack U's latest track "Take U There," featuring Kiesza, it sounds like there's plenty more where that came from. We caught up with the Canadian songstress at HTC’s "Double Exposure" event last week in NYC, where she explained how she and the two super-DJs, Diplo and Skrillex, came together.

It all started in Ibiza after Kiesza opened up for Swedish House Mafia, and Skrillex admitted he was a big fan of hers.

"It was the most spontaneous thing ever!" she laughed about teaming with Jack U. "We went for sushi and [Diplo and Skrillex] were like, 'Let's try something.' We went to Skrillex's hotel room and he had a whole setup already and we just made that song in the hotel room."

As you may have noticed from her guest appearance at the duo's most recent show in Dallas, this relationship is far from over. "We've already started working on some other stuff together," she told us. "They're just very good people, very easy to work with. They're very fun and inspirational."

After seeing what they can throw together quickly in a hotel room, we can't wait to see what else this threesome cooks up.

For now, the 25-year-old is busy enough with her solo work. Kiesza's debut LP, Sound of a Woman, will be released on October 21 and includes her hit single "Hideaway" and plenty more.
