One Direction Thank Fans For Making Their Life As 'Where We Are Tour' Ends

1D and 5SOS get emotional on 'bittersweet' day.

After 71 shows in 47 cities and traveling to 19 different countries, One Direction's Where We Are Tour is officially a wrap.

1D ended their worldwide run in Miami on Sunday in front of a massive crowd of Directioners, who were there to say goodbye to the guy -- for now -- and watched Liam get a bit emotional onstage as he thanked the crowd for their unwavering support.

"This is the last stop the last show of the Where We Are Tour and I just want to say ... on behalf of [me] and the boys this is the most amazing tour we have ever done in our lives, thank you so so much," Payne said at Sun Life stadium. "You guys are incredible I know sometimes people think that we take it for granted, but I want to say on behalf of me and the guys we love you very very much and you do mean the world to us we don't always get it right, but you guys are always there for us and it really does mean the world."

What's even more adorable about this moment, is that Liam was super "nervous" and apologized for making people cry. Liam, you are forgiven.

But Liam wasn't the only one getting emotional. Niall was already sad he wouldn't see his 5SOS friends every day.

5SOS have been opening for 1D (and making them super rich) on the tour. The guys also took to Twitter to mark the end of the nearly seven-month run and thank One Direction for bringing them along.

But neither group will rest for long. 1D are set to release their fourth album, Four, next month and 5SOS are gearing up to kick off their very own worldwide headlining tour, Rock Out With Your Socks Out, in May 2015.
