Jordin Sparks Says She's Not Crying Over Her Split With Jason DeRulo

The singer publicly addresses the breakup for the first time.

If anyone reserves the right to stay positive today, it's Jordin Sparks.

On Friday (September 26), the "No Air" singer finally addressed her split with fiancé Jason DeRulo, tweeting: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

Reports of the breakup first surfaced on September 25, but honestly, I think most of us were still a little too shell-shocked by the news of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose's divorce to fully process this new information. The "Wiggle" singer later confirmed the rumors, telling Minneapolis' KDWB: "It's not a bad situation."

It's great that Jordin is able to stay so strong and positive right now. Somebody's got to, and it sure isn't gonna be me -- at least not this week. Related: EVERYONE STOP BREAKING UP.
