TV News Reporter Quits With On-Air 'F--k It,' Demands Legal Weed For Alaska

Behold the most amazing resignation in the history of employment.

Speaking as an Alaskan born and raised, my home state is a special place, from the majestic mountains to the Aurora Borealis to the mental ravages of Seasonal Affective Disorder. But it's the people who make it truly special...people such as KTVA broadcast reporter Charlo Greene, who resigned in the middle of a broadcast night with an F-bomb after revealing her secret identity as leader of the Alaska Cannabis Club.

At the end of a segment on the organization and its goal of legalizing medical marijuana in the state's upcoming election, Greene dropped all journalistic neutrality and announced her real position (in dual senses of the word): "Now everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska."

She then added, "And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f--k it, I quit." Here's the NSFW video:

The anchors immediately apologized, and the station sent out this tweet soon after, apparently missing the "I quit" part of Greene's manifesto:

She later told the Alaska Dispatch News, "If I offended anyone, I apologize, but I’m not sorry for the choice that I made." She also explained on her Indiegogo page, "I just quit my news reporting job on live TV to announce that I am...helping to end a failed drug policy that has ruined the lives of far too many Americans."

Undeniably, the boldest way anybody has ever told their boss to put that in your pipe and smoke it.
