Will 'Teen Mom 2''s Leah And Corey Be Able To Overcome Their Co-Parenting Differences?

When the exes could no longer hide their frustrations, a heated argument ensued.

The tension between Leah and Corey has been bubbling all season on "Teen Mom 2," and on this week's episode, the pot finally reached its boiling point. But will they be able to simmer down and co-parent civilly?

The exes, who have clashed about their child support agreement as well as the delay in getting their daughter Ali's wheelchair, tried to calmly discuss the latter subject during a drop-off of their girls. But the conversation hit a snag when Leah brought up the fact that Corey's insurance company still hadn't approved the wheelchair.

When the young dad tried to calmly explain that he's done the best he can -- and that the insurance company has 30 days to make a decision -- Leah insisted he needs to "put more effort into it."

"Just keep calling," she said. "This is very important. Even [Ali's] therapist was like, 'We've never heard this.' I mean, who are the people at your insurance? Nobody. Your daughter is more important."

But her statements only ruffled Corey's feathers and he countered that Ali's therapy is just as important; he then added he wasn't pleased that the four-year-old might get discontinued from her program if her attendance doesn't improve. After some back and forth about why Ali missed some sessions, Leah blew her lid.

"No, don't f**king accuse me of s**t," she snapped, causing Corey to immediately point out to Leah's husband Jeremy that he's always accusing him of yelling at Leah.

Jeremy responded by saying Corey and Leah's co-parenting efforts have gone kaput. Corey blamed Leah and Jeremy for the breakdown, adding that he and his ex can't meet without fighting and now they're going to court because of it.

But it was Corey's wife Miranda who provided some important insight and perspective. "I don't think that any of us need to be best friends, but we need to co-parent," she said. "And that's the most important thing."

The group concluded that they would discuss everything in court, but the war of words has already left battle scars. Leah was rattled during the drive home, and Jeremy tried to soothe his wife by assuring her that she's done everything in her power to care for her daughter.

Ali and Aleeah's parents came to a standstill before when it came to communicating about important issues in their girls' lives, and they were able to work through it and even enjoy a cordial group dinner afterward. But it's different this time around, and both Leah and Corey obviously feel hurt by each others' accusations about what they are or aren't doing for their children. Will they be able to get past this disagreement and return to their previous co-parenting ways? Or is there more trouble ahead for the former couple? Weigh in below, and be sure to catch a new episode of "Teen Mom 2" on Wednesday at 10/9c.
