It's a crossover so perfect, we can't believe we didn't think of it ourselves: "The Hunger Games" and Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight."
Think about it: they're both dark stories about a reluctant hero, tasked with saving their people. Both Batman and Katniss are sometimes framed as vigilantes or enemies to the people, and, hey, they both are represented by winged animals, but neither of them have actual wings on their bodies. Separated at birth? Maybe!
The Quarter Quell thinks so, as Effie Trinket herself, Elizabeth Banks, noticed.
Fansite QuarterQuellOrg made these fantastic posters for a crossover between the two, which Banks charmingly referred to as "Batniss." We dig 'em.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" hits theaters November 21, and we don't know if "The Dark Katniss Rises" will ever be real, but we'd totally watch it if it was.
