Just Try To Resist Betty Who’s ‘Somebody Loves You’ Dance Party

Watch the singer's revamped new video.

Good news, pop fans! Betty Who has a new music video out for “Somebody Loves You,” and no — you don’t just have a major case of déjà vu. The 22-year-old Australian singer, born Jessica Anne Newham, has simply remade the clip for “Somebody Loves You,” which originally got the video treatment back in 2013.

“I wanted to start fresh in some way and make [’Somebody Loves You’] new and exciting for myself and everyone who’s been a fan of the song since it came out,” Betty told BuzzFeed Music, who premiered the video on September 4.

The new clip stays faithful to the infectious fun (not to mention retro styling) of the original but amps up the dance-party factor by, like, a buh-jillion. If people in the ’80s had social media and YouTube, this is probably what a mall aerobics class-organized flash mob would’ve looked like.

Speaking of flash mobs (flawless transition), you might recognize the song from a viral video it soundtracked last year. Remember that surprise Home Depot marriage proposal? That was Betty’s “Somebody Loves You” playing in the background.

Not speaking of flash mobs, Who has finally revealed the cover art for her recently announced debut album, Take Me When You Go, which will be released on October 7.
