Calvin Harris Gives Us 15 Seconds Of His New Track And It’s Super Soulful

Hear a bit of 'Blame,' the DJ's John Newman collaboration.

Expect to hear a lot more from Calvin Harris in the near future. As the DJ/producer preps his upcoming dance album, he teased a collaboration with U.K. soul singer John Newman on Tuesday (September 2), giving fans a clip of "Blame" on Instagram.

The snippet zooms out of an all-white-clad, remorseful-looking Newman, whose vocals dominate the first seconds of the clip, along with piano. But the music soon gets Calvin Harris-y (you know, that chugging EDM build-up that leads to a bass drop or belted note?) right before our teaser ends.

"Blame" is the follow-up to Harris' "Summer" and will be out September 7. Presumably, the two songs will be featured on the producer's so-far-untitled fourth studio album.
