Floyd Mayweather Questions 50 Cent's Musical Relevance In Latest Jab

'Raise the stakes.'

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has a big fight to focus on later this month, but during a recent episode of Showtime's All Access: Mayweather vs. Maidana 2 docu-series, the boxing champ took just a moment to acknowledge 50 Cent's recent taunts.

"Hey I heard 50 Cent challenged you for 750 thou," one fan blurted out as Floyd made his way through a Las Vegas casino.

"That's all he challenged me? he gotta raise the stakes," Mayweather responded.

On August 21, Fif remixed the popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and instead challenged his old pal Floyd to read one page out of a "Harry Potter" book, claiming that the boxer has literacy issues. The rapper continued to taunt Mayweather in the days that followed.

Floyd doesn't seem to be too upset and sent back a jab at the G-Unit juggernaut. "Does he still make music? I ain't heard him in a while," he teased, despite the fact that Fif just recently released a G-Unit EP on August 25.
