Chance The Rapper And Common Tell Chicago Tales On Lil Herb's 'Fight Or Flight' Remix

The mixtape track gets a Chi-town remix.

"Never quit, never give in."

It's a message anyone can relate to, and it is thread as the chorus to Lil Herb's soulful "Fight or Flight," which was remixed by Common and Chance the Rapper on Friday (August 29).

The new track, which follows up the original from Herb's February release, Welcome to Fazoland, merges the three styles together smoothly on the Brian Miller-produced cut.

There's G Herbo's gruff, hardened vocals to open and close the song, with Common's poetic, seasoned verse and Chance's vibrant delivery in between. The three tell stories of their younger years and the things they've seen, each coming with a unique tale.

Lil Herb was also featured on the cover art and the opening track on Common's Nobody's Smiling album, which dropped in July.
