Here's Why Penis Measurement Is Critical Evidence In A German Court Case

A man pleads innocent to indecent exposure because he's not well-endowed enough for anyone to see it -- and his wife is backing him up?!

Last year, a 54-year-old man allegedly flashed a teenage girl when he delivered a package -- no pun intended -- to her house in Germany. The girl and her mom reported the incident to the police that same evening.

But the man, identified only as "Herbert O" (seriously, that has to be a fake name) claims his ahem, anaconda, is too small to exhibit anything. His wife even testified in support of his bizarre legal argument: "I'm sorry, darling, but your penis is too short to hang out of your trousers," she said in court, according to The Local.

Herbert's lawyer (who reportedly turned down a settlement offer) suggested measuring the penis in question, and the judge agreed, but it was understandably uncomfortable to collect this evidence in court itself. The judge had a coroner's office take the crucial measurement with a yardstick, of all things.

The results of the examination haven't been announced yet, but one thing's for sure: This is one of those rare cases where size very much matters.
