I have no idea if we've hit peak Ice Bucket Challenge, but if we haven't, Carla Gugino and Malin Akerman are trying to get us there.
The two, who, just to make things weirder, played mother and daughter in Zack Snyder's "Watchmen," were challenged to the charity craze that's sweeping the nation by their former director, and decided the best way to help the cause would be to make out with each other during the filming.
The camera pans up to show the two making out to the song "Je T'Aime," as if the pair are in some kind of faux-serious French art film. And then, per the nature of the challenge, an unseen person, who apparently was watching them make out the whole time (is that what being a personal assistant is like?) dumps a bucket of water on them.
It's surreal and doesn't make any sense, but hey, at least it's for a good cause. Carla challenged Danny DeVito, Juliette Lewis, and Jason Weinberg, while Malin challenged Dan Stevens, Bradley Whitford, and Nicol Paone.
Ok, I'll be honest: a Danny DeVito Ice Bucket Challenge sounds awesome. I just hope it's not video of him making out with Bradley Whitford.
Actually, I kind of do.
