Drake And Lil Wayne Show Support For Meek Mill During Philly Tour Stop

Meek is currently serving three to six months in jail.

In April, Drake called Meek Mill's "Dreams & Nightmares," the intro track on the Philadelphia native's debut album, "one of the best rap moments of our generation." And on Thursday night, he paid homage to that song and Meek during a tour stop in Philly.

As he and Lil Wayne got ready to close their stop in the City of Brotherly Love on the Drake Vs. Lil Wayne Tour, Drizzy led the crowd in a rap-along to Meek's fan-favorite.

On a normal night, the two rap stars would have likely brought the pride of Philly out to share the stage for some hits, but that's currently not possible, as Meek sits in jail on a probation violation from a 2009 drug and gun case. In July, he was sentenced to three to six months in prison, and earlier this week, he was denied an early release.

In support of the incarcerated rapper, Drake left Philly fans with a few words before exiting the stage: "Free Meek Milly, man."

The duo's joint tour wraps in late September.
