The Sons Of Anarchy Motorcycle Club — Redwood Original hits the road for one final ride beginning next month, and now, we know when the ride will end.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the final episode of FX's "Sons of Anarchy" will air on Tuesday, December 9. It marks the end of an extreme era of violence, heartbreak, and utter mayhem. Hopefully, not Unser mayhem — at least one character deserves a happy ending here, right?
But even with only a handful of episodes left in sight, "Sons" won't disappear forever, as creator Kurt Sutter plans to move forward with an "Anarchy" prequel series focused on the club's founding fathers.
“The prequel will be about the origins of John Teller and Piney Winston,” Sutter said at Comic-Con. “I don’t know if it’ll be a full-on series. It might just be a miniseries. But our hope is to let the mythology rest for a couple of seasons, and then we’ll come back and do the prequel. We’re having conversations about that.”
Additionally, the day after "Sons" airs its finale, the world of Charming, California, will expand even further in the form of "Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector's Edition," a behind-the-scenes companion book designed to tell you everything you need to know about SAMCRO. It's available for pre-order now, releasing on December 3.
"Sons of Anarchy" begins its final season on September 9.
