Kendall Jenner is not happy.
The reality star claims that she has been defamed by waitress and former MTV "Skins" actress Blaine Morris, who alleged that she had to run after the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star after she skipped out on her bill at New York's Mercer Kitchen.
Morris further accused 18-year-old Jenner, who was dining with friend Hailey Baldwin earlier this month, of throwing money in Morris' face because she was angry at not being served alcohol. The E! star is now threatening to sue Morris, with her lawyers sending a cease and desist notice demanding an "appropriate retraction and sincere apology" for a tweet that the former MTV actress reportedly wrote.
E! News obtained a copy of the letter lawyer Marty Singer sent to Blaine, which claims that although Kendall "inadvertently forgot to take care of the bill before walking out," she "politely" handed her the money. Singer also claims that Blaine's tweet was a fabricated story used for publicity.
"Although you are working as a waitress ... I understand that you are also a struggling actress whose credits include a handful of television appearances," Singer writes. "You no doubt concocted a fictionalized account of your encounter with my client in order to create publicity for yourself and raise your own public profile."
Earlier this week, Kendall took to Twitter herself to slam the accusations, insisting “these rumors r absolutely ridiculous” and that she would never “act that disrespectfully.”
