Go Behind The Scenes Of Juicy J’s ‘Low’ Video

Memphis vibes.

Juicy J locked down verses from Nicki Minaj and Chicago rapper Lil Bibby on his latest release, “Low,” and you’d better believe that an accompanying music video is on the way.

Just about a week after the Memphis rapper dropped his new single, he shot the visuals out in Los Angeles. MTV News joined him on the set of the Benny Boom-directed video, which was filmed in a lot packed with custom cars and vixens. It was all Tennessee vibes on the West Coast for this one.

“[The set] made me feel like I was in Memphis — [with] the cars and the chicks, all the scenes are super dope,” Juicy J explained, adding that he usually leaves creative up to the director. “I read some of the treatment, but I trust Benny Boom. A lot of times when he sends me stuff I might read just a half of it, or a third of it [because] I trust his judgement.”

“[And] I already know there’s gonna be some surprises. Every video he’s shot for me, I barely read the treatment because it takes the fun out of it.”

Juicy J is expected to drop his fourth solo album Pure THC: The Hustle Continues later this year. Go behind the scenes in the video above.
