Emma Stone May Be Headed To Broadway

The actress might replace Michelle Williams in 'Cabaret.'

Emma Stone already rules lip-synching. She proved that all the way back in April. Now she’s set to take the world of actual singing by storm.

According to The New York Times pretty much everyone’s favor person is in talks to replace Michelle Williams on current revival of “Cabaret.” It would be the actress’ first foray onto the Great White Way, but something tells me that she’ll crush it.

This is actually a second chance for Stone. She was originally attached to the revival back in May of 2013 for the role of Sally Bowles, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. If Stone signs on, she’ll be working opposite Alan Cumming, who will stay on after Williams’ departure.

If you’re not familiar with Stone’s vocal ability, you might want to check out this little ditty from the forgotten reality TV show, “The New Partridge Family.”

Everyone remembers that classic Broadway showstopper, “Bitch.”

Williams’ last show is scheduled to be on November 9, and Stone would presumably take over right after. I imagine it will be hard to get tickets.

Writer/editor for MTV. If it involves cowboys, spies, or hitmen, I'm there. All three would be ideal.
