Although Rita Ora isn't getting revenge on her ex like she does in Iggy Azalea's "Black Widow" video, she's still going to talk about her former flame -- DJ and producer Calvin Harris. And, on the same day that she an Iggy were announced as 2014 VMA performers, she did just that.
Rita came clean about Harris, telling Glamour U.K. that it was difficult maintaining a relationship amidst their respective music careers.
"It's hard to have a relationship in this business," she told the mag. "We both work really hard, we're both all over the place. It was a wake-up call. I'm gonna tell you the truth… I'm not doing too great. But I'm doing better than I thought."
The couple announced their split in June with a series of tweets explaining that the breakup was amicable.
"I adore him and he's an amazing human being," she continued in Glamour. "It was more about the situation, it was inconvenient, it was sh--, it sucks."
Though she's now rumored to be dating rapper Richard Hilfiger (Tommy Hilfiger's son), the "I Will Never Let You Down" singer admitted the breakup was a learning lesson.
"I think I'm gonna have a minute to myself," she added. "I'm 23. I've got the best friends in the world to be with. Especially now at this point in my life. You live and you learn, don't you?"
