Nothing like some great news to get you over hump day!

Disney Channel has officially announced that "Girl Meets World" will return for a second season, TV Guide reports.

The show has been a ratings hit from the start -- premiering to 5.2 million viewers on June 25 -- thanks in part to a first episode that featured a cameo from "Boy Meets World" favorite Mr. Feeny.

"The series swiftly became a favorite of kids and their parents, many of whom grew up with 'Boy Meets World,'" Adam Bonnett, Disney's EVP of original programming, told TV Guide.

Meanwhile, Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage -- two of the show's stars -- took to Twitter to express their gratitude to fans.

"Thank you to all who watch and support us. We appreciate you," Danielle said.

"Thank you for your support GMW fans," Ben wrote, reiterating her sentiments.

Filming starts again on November 2, and Season 2 will premiere in 2015. But in the meantime, check out Cory and Topanga on "Boy Meets World" weekdays from 1/12c-3/2c on MTV2!
