A Mom Punished Her Daughter By Selling Her Katy Perry Tickets On Facebook

She called her daughter a 'spoiled brat' in the controversial post, which was later removed by moderators.

A North Dakota teen received the ultimate punishment this weekend: her mom sold her Katy Perry tickets. Apparently, the teenage daughter disrespected her mother to the point that her mom took to a local Facebook group to sell her concert tickets.

"I was not going to give her the tickets. I was not going to let her go to the concert with the behavior that she's been doing," Cindy Bjerke told WDAZ.

Bjerke posted the tickets in the Fargo/Moorhead Online Garage Sale, calling her daughter as "spoiled brat," undeserving of the concert experience. The pair of tickerts were originally priced at $110 but Bjerke sold them for a mere $90, another harsh move amirite?

Obviously, they sold in under five minutes, but the post continued to rack up comments. Some were supportive but others, critical of a mother publicly shaming her daughter and calling her a brat.

The post has since been moved by group administrators, citing that the attention attracted to it was not indicative of buying or selling.

The mother defended herself, claiming, "I think a lot of parents are like me and feel they are being bullied over how they should parent their own children."

Well, that's one teenage dream crushed.
