Channing Tatum Threw Cards At Our Face At Comic-Con, Because 'X-Men'

Here's what happens when you allow Channing to ruin your face.

Well, you can't say he didn't ask for it. MTV News' Josh Horowitz found out the hard way that you can't ask bulky, mutant levels of handsome actors like Channing Tatum to literally throw things at you, even if it's to show off a new role.

Tatum and Christina Applegate stopped by our San Diego Comic-Con headquarters on Friday (July 26) to promote "Book of Life," but of course we couldn't help but ask Tatum about taking on the role of the beloved X-Men character, Gambit -- a role he's craved for basically his entire life.

"I was like, chasing it," he explained. "Very vigorously. Just bothering [producer] Lauren [Shuler-Donner] like crazy. I was coming in in dress, in full Gambit attire. You name it, I had cards, I had the whole thing."

This then forced us to ask about Gambit's token card-throwing skills, which the actor was more than happy to show off -- in Josh's face. Safe to say, if Gambit brings this deck of cards to "Apocalypse," the X-Men will officially win the war.
