It's Benedict Cumberbatch's first San Diego Comic-Con, and he's ringing in the experience with a whole slew of accents and impressions.
First he showed off his brand new Boston accent, which he had to do for the Whitey Bulger movie "Black Mass," showing us the fine points of saying "pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd," though he also admitted "No one in Boston will like it."
Then, because he's cultured, he broke off into a French accent for a bit, as everyone watching swooned.
And, because maybe he's not quite as cultured as he lets on, he took on Vin Diesel, which he admitted came out a bit more like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
But finally, Cumberbatch broke out the big guns, with absolutely spot-on, terrifying, wonderful impressions of Jar-Jar Binks and Gollum, hitting two huge Comic-Con franchises.
Making the experience more surreal, MTV News' own Josh Horowitz put in his own Jar-Jar impression, as the two had a Jar-Jar conversation that might make you go mental (in Cumberbatch's words) if you watch it too much.
"I think this is the moment where the world turns on you," Josh said.
Nah. Just speak more French to us, Benedict. We'll forgive you.
