‘Teen Wolf,’ ‘Faking It’ And ‘Catfish’ Score Teen Choice Awards Nominations

And you can help the MTV shows -- plus their stars -- bring home a coveted surfboard!

A surfboard might look good ripping through a 10-foot swell, but it’ll look even better atop a few MTV stars’ mantles.

Yesterday, in a second wave of nominations for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, three of the network’s biggest shows were put up for awards in five separate categories. And the stars of “Faking It,” which was nominated for Choice TV: Breakout Show, couldn’t deny their excitement.

“OMG!!! @MTVFAKINGIT GOT NOMINATED FOR BEST BREAKOUT SHOW FOR TEEN CHOICE AWARDS!!! AHHHHHHH! Thank you!!!,” Katie Stevens tweeted after getting the news, while Rita Volk posted “So amazing !!! Thank you guys!! We are SO EXCITED! aaahhhhhh!!!!”

We don’t think we’ve seen so many exclamations since Karma and Amy kissed at the Hester High School assembly!

Fellow scripted show “Teen Wolf” also got some love, as Tyler Posey scored a nom in the Choice Summer TV Star: Male category, Tyler Hoehclin will compete for the Choice TV Male Scene Stealer and Dylan O’Brien‘s portrayal of the dreaded Nogitsune might earn him the honor of Choice TV Villain.

Finally, “Catfish” will fight hard to represent MTV’s reality TV front, as Max Joseph and Nev Schulman are nominated — in tandem — for Choice TV Reality Personality: Male.

Tell us what you think of the new nominees, vote for your faves and tune in to the show on August 10th at 8/7c on Fox!
