Footage From The World's Tallest Waterslide Test Run Will Make You Wet Your Pants

We're not screaming, you're screaming.

After months of anticipation, delays, and terrifying rumors about riders being accidentally launched into the air during test runs, Schlitterbahn Park in Kansas City has finally unveiled real, actual footage of real, actual human beings riding its new monster waterslide.

The Verrückt — a German moniker which literally translates as "the Crazy," which is what one probably needs to be afflicted with in order to think that sliding down a 168-foot chlorinated death chute is even remotely a good idea — is so tall that riders must be strapped into a raft for their trip down the slide, because the wedgie you would receive riding this thing bareback would literally kill you.

Although The Verrückt didn't manage to make its originally scheduled Memorial Day debut, this footage is a solid indication that it will be open for business before the end of this summer, to the great delight of lunatic thrill seekers everywhere.
