Amber Portwood Pens Tell-All, Says 'I'm Going To Tell You How It All Happened'

The former 'Teen Mom' is opening up about addiction, divorce, mental illness and much, much more.

These are the cold, hard facts: After spending 17 months in an Indiana prison for violating probation surrounding a case of drug possession, Amber Portwood of "Teen Mom" was released early from a five-year sentence last November and has since been on the straight and narrow. She's a phoenix now, but how was she first reduced to ashes?

We'll soon find out. The mother of the adorable little Leah has written a tell-all book, she told InTouch yesterday, and it doesn't sound like she's going to leave much to the imagination. "It’s a brutally honest account of how bad my life got," she said in the interview. "Addiction. Mental illness. Death. Divorce. Betrayal. Violence. Suicide attempts. Felony charges. Rehab. Drug overdoses and jail...I’m going to tell you how it all happened."

Amber was brutally honest about her struggles throughout a recent appearance on "Maury," during which she mentored a group of troubled young girls who responded positively to her candor. Let's hope her continued openness has the same effect on readers!
