The stars of "Girl Meets World" may not have watched "Boy Meets World" when the show was enjoying its run on ABC -- one of them wasn't even born! -- but that hasn't stopped both from becoming big fans of the original series.

Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter, who play best friends Riley and Maya on "Girl," eventually tuned into "Boy" as a form of research for their roles -- but that's not the only reason.

"'Boy Meets World' happens to be a fantastic show, so we wanted to watch it, too," 12-year-old Rowan says in the interview clip, below.

In fact, she and 15-year-old Sabrina got hooked on the series, which ended its run in early 2000.

"I constantly find myself watching the reruns of [it]," Sabrina admits. Such an old soul.
