The 2014 BET Awards saved the best for last with a special broadcast performance from Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On The Run Tour to close out the show Sunday (June 29) night.

Although the Carters were not actually in Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, their pre-taped performance was still as exciting.

Hov opened up the clip by taking a seat in a chair onstage under a crimson light as he spit a brand new never-heard-before verse for Bey’s “Partition.”

“Word to Riccardo Tisci, she like ‘Oh my God,’ I’m like ‘Nice to meet me.’/Damn girl you got that Versace, left the curtains open for the paparazzi/A little TMI for you TMZ,” he rapped

On cue, Bey emerged from backstage under a spotlight in front of a large digital screen flanked by dancers on stripper poles. The fans in the sold-out arena shrieked with delight as the sultry chanteuse was shown on the big monitors near the stage.

As she sang, “Driver, roll up the partition, please/Driver, roll up the partition, please/I don't need you seeing 'Yonce on her knees," in a glittery leotard, the video panned to the hordes of fans singing along.
