Amy Adams is making headlines this weekend, but it's not for one of her movies. Instead, the actress is in the spotlight for giving up her first class seat on a plane to a soldier sitting in coach. The actress privately requested the change be made, but Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN2's "Numbers Never Lie," was also on board and tweeted about Adams' generosity.
Adams was traveling from Detroit to Los Angeles, and despite her best efforts to keep the sweat swap private, she was met by reporters upon landing.
"I didn't do it for attention for myself I did it for attention for the troops," she said to an Inside Edition reporter. The actress was raised in a military home, but this act of respect is just another reason to love her.
