Kim Kardashian's relationship with Kanye West has opened her up to a whole new world of experiences, including a few that have been a little bit unsettling.
Back in February it was reported that Kim and Kris Jenner abruptly left the Opera Ball in Vienna because they were harassed by a man in blackface, and now there's video footage of the incident.
In the short clip, the man tries to follow the reality star around, yelling "Hi Kim, it's me! Kanye!" while her security detail attempts to escort her away. The footage will appear in an upcoming episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," and when Kim hits the confessional booth she tells the camera, "I just am so confused, I don't get him or anyone else would find this funny."
Back in May, Kim decided to address the issue of racism head on.
"To be honest, before I had North, I never really gave racism or discrimination a lot of thought. It is obviously a topic that Kanye is passionate about, but I guess it was easier for me to believe that it was someone else’s battle," she wrote. "But recently, I’ve read and personally experienced some incidents that have sickened me and made me take notice. I realize that racism and discrimination are still alive, and just as hateful and deadly as they ever have been.
"I feel a responsibility as a mother, a public figure, a human being, to do what I can to make sure that not only my child, but all children, don’t have to grow up in a world where they are judged by the color of their skin, or their gender, or their sexual orientation."
