We can't imagine anything much more anarchic than "The Purge," a movie in which the laws are suspended for 24 hours and Ethan Hawke tries desperately to survive the night. Like, we thought that was the actual definition of anarchy -- lawlessness -- but now that we've seen the new trailer for sequel "The Purge: Anarchy," we know what anarchy really means.
It means Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez and Zach Gilford running (literally) for their garsh darn lives while (literal) anarchy reigns. They're somehow kidnapped, along with several other friends, and their lives are sold to the highest bidder as a bougie crowd watches them try to survive the night on the street.
Um, hello nightmares. Welcome. Stay a while. Don't mind us while we sleep with the lights on and the windows tightly closed.
"The Purge: Anarchy" hits theaters July 18.
