Last year at this time, music fans couldn’t escape the Yeezus conversation. Kanye West’s sixth solo LP, with it’s minimalist approach, was a hot topic and the most-polarizing album of the year. It was loud, it was daring, it was art and above all else, it was all so Kanye.
On Wednesday, we celebrated Yeezus’s one-year anniversary. We played it loud and revisited tracks like the electric “On Sight,” the bouncy “Blood on the Leaves” and the filthy love ode “Bound 2.” After a few spins we decided to reach out to you guys and asked: How do you feel about Kanye West’s Yeezus a Year after it’s release?
Here’s what you said.
