Alt-J’s Miley-Sampling Single Is Our New Jam

Like Miley, our tongues are hanging out.

“Otherworldly” is likely not a word one would use to describe Miley Cyrus’ song “4×4″ — not until it made its way into Alt-J‘s new single, “Hunger of the Pine,” that is.

The UK band released the single Wednesday (June 18), the first taste of their upcoming sophomore record, This Is All Yours, due out September 22.

Let this gorgeous wall of sound hit you like a wrecking ball — or, rather, a dream-spun 4×4.
