Two 'Teen Mom' Couples Are Helping This Little Girl Fight Cancer

Catelynn and Tyler, plus Kailyn and Javi, will take part in an event to raise funds for a very special three-year-old.

Four familiar faces from "Teen Mom" and "Teen Mom 2" are joining forces to help a three-year-old cancer patient.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, as well as Kailyn Lowry-Marroquin and her husband Javi, will take part in a meet-and-greet and book signing for Kailyn's bestseller "Pride Over Pity" in Mt. Brighton, Michigan, on July 13. Proceeds from the event, sponsored by The LinkFund, will go to the family of the girl, Amelie "Amie" Strzalkowski.

In anticipation of the affair, Tyler took to Twitter and said he was grateful to be a part of it:

According to, Amie is suffering from rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer that has spread to her brain. Her father Jason told the website that she's currently undergoing radiation treatments and "doing really well," but her prognosis is uncertain.

"There are a lot of very large questions, and we don't know when we'll find out the answers," he said. "But we're trying not to worry about what we can't control."

The Michigan event won't be the first time Catelynn and Tyler are meeting Amie; in fact, the high school sweethearts just spent time with her last week.

"She's so funny and smart," Catelynn gushed to "She's got this personality that absolutely captures you, and it just made me want to help her and raise as much money as I possibly can to help this little girl."

Added Tyler: "It's one of those things that really tugs at the heartstrings and really motivates you to do something like this event. If I can do events like this and draw the public's attention to a little girl in need...that's what we were put in the spotlight to do."
