George R. R. Martin Gets Cranky, Homoerotic For 'Gay Of Thrones'

In this bedtime story, prepare to die.

As always, Funny or Die's "Gay of Thrones" recap is your one-stop shop for the necessary highlights from Sunday's episode. If you're not quite caught up on the HBO dragon drama zeitgeist, here you'll get the deets on everything from the Lannister twins' tabletop sex romp to Tywin's toilet death to the undeniable similarities between Ygritte's death tableau and a Chanel ad (i.e. both so glamorous we can hardly stand it.)

But this latest one contains an extra treat: a "Princess Bride"-style twist at the end, and an appearance by none other than George R. R. Martin himself.

The "Game of Thrones" grandpappy appears just before minute five, where he discovers that even his grandkid (a little blond Fred Savage stand-in) is getting antsy for the next book. Also, with Martin at the helm, it's probably best if you don't get too attached to any of the Gays of Thrones who are in charge of hosting this episode, for the usual reasons.
