Hardwell had some big news on Tuesday (June 17) – news so big that Times Square was the only venue big enough to announce it.
The Dutch DJ took over the New York City landmark to announce the North American tour dates on his I Am Hardwell Tour.
The DJ, born Robbert van de Corput, is teaming up with MTV Clubland to bring his worldwide trek to seven cities in the U.S. and Canada, starting on October 31 in Chicago and wrapping up on November 15 at Madison Square Garden.
Whoever wins is in for a hell of a show, according to the DJ.
“I think Madison Square Garden is the venue of the world there is no better venue in the world than Madison Square Garden,” he said. “Besides that, it’s the last stop the last show of the I Am Hardwell tour, so its going to be a special one.”
But whether you’re at Madison Square Garden or one of the other six venues on his North American trek, Hardwell promises a Hardwell show like they’ve never seen.
“It’s the only show where I play for three hours people can expect my old songs the new songs, the stuff that’s coming up on my debut album, and everything in between,” he told us. “It’s more like a journey.”
