Jennifer Hudson's 'Walk It Out' Video Is Straight Out Of The '90s

J. Hud teams up with producer Timbaland for her latest clip.

Jennifer Hudson's inviting you on a walk in her latest music video -- a walk straight back to 1998.

The Timbaland- and J-Roc-produced "Walk It Out" is the latest off Hudson's upcoming third studio album, due this summer. And the video, like the track itself, is tinged with '90s nostalgia -- even throwing in a reference Aaliyah's "Are You That Somebody." I mean, just look at that jacket, and those Krispy Kreme-sized hoops.

Timbaland also shows up in the clip, but most of it is all about J-Hud -- which makes sense, given that when MTV News caught up with Hudson back in January, she said working with both him and Pharrell allowed her to "express herself."

"I think it's more of a feeling, more than a genre, and I've had the pleasure of working with Pharrell and Timbaland, and I love their process," she said. “They allow you to express yourself musically as an artist, as a writer, in every way. It’s been a lot of fun.”
