Tupac Shakur was murdered almost two decades ago, but his memory lives on in music, interviews and beyond. His influence on hip-hop is undeniable on a daily basis, but there are two times each year when people celebrate ’Pac to an even greater extent: June 16, the day he was born; and September 13, the day he died.
The legendary artist would have been 43 years old today.
Among his close friends and frequent collaborators was Snoop Dogg, who posted a few images on Instagram to honor his late peer.
“Happy c day to my n—-a PAC. Rip!! #thuglife,” he wrote.
“Miss u cuz”
He wasn’t the only one either. MC Hammer, Trae Tha Truth, Casey Veggies and others also shared their love for ’Pac on social media.
