Twitter’s First Drone Target Is Patrick Stewart

He's probably used to unidentified flying objects by now.

Like everyone else on this old spinning globe of ours, we’ve been enjoying Sir Patrick Stewart‘s myriad entertaining contributions to Twitter — including his microblogging bromance with Sir Ian McKellen.

Well, Stewart’s Twit game just got even more impressive, as he was one of the first folks to get snapped by Twitter’s new drone account, @dronie.

Twitter launched the account at advertising awards festival Cannes Lions 2014, sharing a drone-ified Vine of Stewart waving with Joel Lunenfeld, VP of global brand strategy at Twitter.

The @Dronie account is primed to share more snaps over the course of the week. We wonder what other celebs will be making appearances.
